We would like to formally introduce UK-based Luke Sandler as his latest work, remixes of the Majka E.P. graces the label Of Onyx. After his initial song "I.T.A.T" was signed to the label, the choice was simple to have him produce some more art.
After being exposed to the UK dance scene as a medical student Luke Sandler immediately knew music was going to have a significant role in his life. He had been collecting music for as long as he can remember; combining this with his love of house, techno, and everything in between he taught himself to DJ. By the time he left university, he was playing several residencies every week. His passion for music grew he began to move into his own productions, which garnered early support from Kolsch on BBC radio 1.
Now working as a doctor in a London accident and emergency department Luke finds comfort in the contrast from everyday life offered by dance music, and the clubs, raves, and festivals his music is designed for. Inspired by those moments we experience on the dance floor that transcend what has come before and what will come after. In both his productions and his sets he aims to create dance floor moments that will leave the dancers smiling long after the ringing in their ears has faded.
His latest three tracks, "In Love [Luke Sandler Mix]", "In Love [Warehouse Dub - Luke Sandler Mix]" and the incredibly dreamy "Majka [1990 Dream - Luke Sandler Mix]" just radiate coolness. All three tracks have a nostalgic feeling to them and I personally can't wait to play them out.
I am so grateful for Luke remixing my tracks, it means the absolute world to me to have such a fantastic producer working to make this art.
